Winston Memorial Academy - a Co-educational English Medium Public School – has been established on 5 January 2018. The school is located in Reona Ghatampur Kanpur Nagar to cater to the educational needs of the wards of the rural areas parents . Its journey starts by lighting the path of its students of classes Nursery to VII leading to class XII on Public School lines in a phased manner. It is resolved to ensure quality education by laying emphasis on both academics and co-curricular activities through a highly qualified and skilled work force and state-of-the-art infrastructure. The core purpose is to provide high-quality education by nurturing all the five aspects of education-Physical, Mental, Emotional, Social and Spiritual well-being. The school building comprises 14 classrooms, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab , Computer Lab, Maths Lab, Library Hall, Craft Room, Music & Dance Room, Multi-Purpose Room, Principal’s Room, Staff Room, Office Hall, Examination Room, Store Room, Sports Room, and Medical Room. All classrooms are proposed to be smart classrooms facilitating learning through audio-visual aids. The playground offers ample space to the students to practise different sports and games. Facility of an auditorium has been provided to organize school programmes and functions. The school campus will be guarded by CCTV surveillance to ensure safety of the students. Female attendants are to be appointed for students’ security inside the school premises. Ramps have been constructed considering the specially-abled children who may take admission in the school. Play area with swings for the Kindergarten students, provision of RO Drinking, separate toilets for girls and boys and 2 sets of staircases are the other highlights. The school is all set to soar high to realize its vision to impart education that makes its students human beings in the true sense of the word – self-reliant, contended, fearless and compassionate.
